Gardener, Teacher, Founder of Vanam
Anamika Verma has been growing food and flowers for over 10 years, and teaching others to do it for almost as long. Her work is not landscaping and not interior design — it is the practical, seasonal, hands-in-the-soil business of getting things to actually grow in Indian homes.
She has personally guided the setup of more than 50 terrace gardens and hundreds of balcony and indoor gardens across Delhi NCR. She teaches through Vanam's courses and workshops, answers questions daily in the Vanam community, and shares what her own garden is doing each week on YouTube.
Her approach is unfashionably simple: start small, use desi seeds, understand your sunlight, and do not overwater. Most people who follow those four rules succeed.
